I can’t get over how much I love taking Rawlings Conservatory wedding photos. It’s this beautiful, Victorian, all glass building full of giant palm trees, a desert room, and some of the fattest koi fish I’ve ever seen. In fact, whenever I have friends or family come to visit, it’s one of 10 things I peer pressure them into doing (also high on that list is forcing everyone to eat Korean BBQ cauliflower from Stall 11). So when Hallie and Justin asked me to shoot their wedding there, I was absolutely ecstatic about the idea.

This wedding day started with them getting ready in their home and her sister’s home, then moseying over to the greenhouse for a botanical garden ceremony, surrounded by all their family and friends. Hallie arranged her own flowers and made the boutineers, guests were all invited to make their own flower crowns (which means all the men and women on the dance floor bopped around with flowers adorning their heads) and they danced into the night. This is how it went.
