Hello, I’m Nessa, Baltimore engagement photographer and your new neighbor.
This engagement session happened just after Bekah and Brad’s recent move to Mount Vernon, (my own neighborhood). Not only did I get to meet up with them by walking out my front door, but in addition to hanging out and taking photos, we also had a bit of a walk about tour of our new shared neighborhood. We talked Chinese food, coffee shops, pizza places, and how much we love all the local antique stores in the area.
When I first met them, they reawakened my love of exploring my own city. It just sounded like they had found so many amazing sounding coffee shops and stores in Hamdpen Baltimore already. I deeply love getting to visit and uncover all the hidden wanders around my city (like this bookstore they introduced me to; it’s a free book bookstore where you check books out forever… or the tiny treasures I find in the antique stores on The Avenue). And my love of exploring the city recently inspired me to go see the touristy bits of Baltimore (the parts I tend to take for granted) on a recent trip to the aquarium. I was happy to catch up with them, hear about the food they’d had lately, and take photos at sunset in our little neighborhood in Baltimore. So here’s to good Chinese food, free books, and to always exploring the city in which you live.
