Baltimore Harbor Engagement Session: Shay & Ryan

06.03.14

This Baltimore harbor engagement session makes me love the city I live in even more.

Shay and Ryan met up with me at 5:50 a.m. on a harbor in Baltimore. It was my first time meeting them, but I liked them both immediately. Walking up to the docks, we found colorful kayaks stacked nearby, there were ships docked across the bay, and the world was yellow and blue with sunlight and shadows. They told me this area was their favorite, we talked about how long they had lived in Baltimore and how much they adore it. I love when people see the beauty in the places they live. I love that they appreciate living here. It’s such a charming city, for all of it’s quirks. For all the good food, the sights, and the smell of fresh bread that wafts through the streets on the weekends in Fells Point as the local bread manufacturer whips up breads of all varieties.

We popped into The Bun Shop, my new favorite restaurant in my neighborhood for a few photos and just so I could show them how lovely it is. It was early, but we laughed, I got to know them and how they fit together like puzzle pieces, and we explored Mount Vernon a little in the end, basking in golden sunrise lighting and loving every second.
