• How would you describe your style?

  Warm and candid, with a slant towards the editorial.

  I make art from unplanably beautiful moments. I incorporate composition, framing, leading lines, and intentionality with every photograph, so every image tells a story. I love working with the light and the locations exactly as they are, so candlelight stays candlelight and a moody room stays moody, rather than bringing in bright artificial lighting and rewriting how your day felt.

• How do we book you?

  To book, contact me for pricing, full galleries, and to set up a time to chat. Then I’ll send an online contract and a non-refundable $2000 retainer invoice. Once both are received, the date is yours.

• Will you be the person photographing my wedding?

  Yes! Hi, I’m Nessa. I’ll be the one photographing your wedding. I also work with a select few second photographers who I love and trust, but I’m the primary photographer at every wedding!

• How long have you been photographing weddings?

  I’ve been photographing weddings full-time for over 18 years and I’ve photographed over 450 weddings. I also am lucky enough to get to photograph people over and over again as I do family photography as well!

• Do you travel for weddings?

  I’m happy to! I’m located in Baltimore, Maryland, but I’m happy to photograph weddings in any destination.

• Do you collaborate with planners and creative teams?

  Yes, and I love it. I work with planners, designers, and venues on timeline flow and lighting ahead of the day, so your wedding is photographed the way it was designed.

• How will our photos be delivered? When?

  You’ll receive an online gallery for viewing and sharing so family and friends will be able to easily view and print their own photos as they revisit your wedding day. You’ll also receive all of the files to download,  keep, and print from. The high resolution files are perfect for printing images for personal use.

  Engagement sessions are ready in 4–6 weeks.

  Wedding galleries take a bit more time and will be ready in 6–8 weeks

• Should we do an engagement session?

  It’s not required, but it’s a great way for us to get to know each other and visit a place you both love. It’s a lovely way to collaborate together to find something that represents both of you. It’s also a chance to get some practice in front of the camera before the wedding day!

• Do you offer albums?

  I do. Albums are our first family heirlooms. Every album is handmade, and we’ll design yours together around the moments you’ll keep returning to. You also receive all of your high-res files, so you can print your own if you’d rather. The goal is that these photos don’t live on a computer somewhere: that they stay part of your life.

  And I’d love to answer them! If you’re near Baltimore, we can meet in person to chat and go through a few albums. Otherwise, I’m happy to set up a video call whenever it’s convenient for you. You can book a time whenever you’re ready!
