Goodstone Inn Wedding in Middleburg, Virginia

Anna and Garrett planned their Goodstone Inn wedding in Middleburg, Virginia with a smaller guest list, letting the day unfold more like a garden party and a long family dinner.

They spent the morning on opposite sides of Goodstone. Anna at the Manor House, Garrett at the Spring House. Before the ceremony, they met briefly to exchange vows, just the two of them, with Penny nearby. No audience. They cried, laughed, and held onto the moment before anything began.

Guests gathered at the ivy wall as the sun dropped. Penny walked down the aisle with Garrett. Anna followed.

The ceremony was brief, set against the ivy-covered stone.

Cocktail hour shifted to the pool. Pink cocktails. Lawn games. Guests moving easily between the water and the lawn. Then everyone followed the light down the path toward dinner in the sailcloth tent.

One long table after another.

Florals and table settings carried the color against the greens and stone of the property. Dinner stretched. Conversations overlapped. Desserts passed between hands. The sky moved from light blue to indigo to black.

Dancing started under the string lights as the bonfire was lit. People moved between the long stretching tables to the lawn. This is how their day went.
