Allen and Eve wanted something to juxtapose the locations they had chosen for their downtown DC wedding, so when I happened upon this apple orchard in Martinsburg WV and sent along some photos, they took the long hike out from Washington DC for their engagement session in the middle of this rural, gorgeous farmland.
One of the things I love about living an hour outside the city is having access to the most amazing locations I could’ve ever dreamed of. Locations scouting for engagement sessions is one of the perks of the job. I could probably plan some killer picnics with all the spots I’ve found in the Maryland area. And as we’re moving to Pennsylvania in the next month, I can’t wait to explore the forests, fields, and lakes to find new amazing locations. This session was about apple orchards, a farm hill, two people in love, and a golden sunset. Driving two hours to an engagement session never felt so right.
