Some days are overcast and rainy and some are all sunny, but this day was the kind that started off overcast, drizzly, and a little grey, turned into sunshine, and by the evening, was a perfectly warm, yellow summer night. WeatherLea Farm & Vineyards is a little venue in Lovettsville, VA. There are a few small buildings on the property, some farm animals, an antique truck, and most amazing of allis a large wooden barn. A barn with gaps in the wood and huge doors that open up in the evening for food, dancing, and views of a little pond can be seen through the barn windows. Sterling and John were married minutes after the sun appeared for the first time that day. After the ceremony, we wandered down to the pond, visited swings hung by branches, and everything about this place… the barn, the pond, the remote location… it all swelled with warmth when their band The Whiskey Rebellion started playing folksy covers of beautiful songs. For more photos of them, feel free to drop by and look at their rooftop engagement session.
