I adore these Woodlawn Bed and Breakfast wedding photos and I am lucky.
I’m lucky some of the most positive, lovely people I’ve ever met have asked me to shoot their weddings. People who think to hire school buses to bring their wedding guests to the beautiful small farm where they’re married. Jacqueline and Evan are two of those people. They ended up finding Woodlawn B&B by chance looking for another venue with a similar name. Arriving at the wrong destination, but quite content with where they ended up, they decided to be married where fate had brought them.
Their wedding was in front of a twisty, arthritic tree that stretched it limbs toward the lake behind them. They spent their evening overlooking the lake, stepping away from their guests for a moment at sunset for photos on the dock.
I say I am lucky, but I feel it’s more accurate to say that I am blessed. Jaq and Evan are positive, supportive, always smiling, and so lovely to be around. They are the lucky ones, to have found each other… to fit so perfectly. To have a perfect day on a farm on a dusty road. And I am blessed for getting to witness it all.
For more photos, stop by to see their engagement session in Eastern Market in DC while you’re here. :)
